Brad Jennings

Age: 26

Hometown: Delaware, ON

Currently Resides: Sault Ste. Marie, ON

Brad is the captain and primary navigator of the team. Having always been involved in outdoor sports, he started adventure racing as a teenager and quickly developed a love for the sport. You may often find him on course with more camera's than race gear, filming for both Get Out There Magazine and
Explore the Backcountry. He loves to capture and relive the mental and physical slog as well as the extreme highs and lows that is AR. Brad is part of the board of directors for the Canadian Adventure Racing Association, assistant race director at Wilderness Traverse and is also the founder and race director of Trent AR, an adventure racing club based out of Trent University.

Jessica Kuepfer

Age: 28

Hometown: Millbank, ON

Currently Resides: Waterloo, ON

Jessica has been on the team since 2014 and is a New Balance runner, avid cyclist and very serious latte drinker. Since joining the team, she has participated in a number of multi-day events covering all adventure racing disciplines. Jessica has relentless endurance, mental grit and a passion for adventure. When she is not racing through the back country with the team, she is training, writing for Canadian Running Magazine and her blog Laces and Lattes or planning her next adventure.

Nick Schwass

Age: 26

Hometown: Terra Cotta, ON

Currently Resides: Tara, ON

Nick is no beginner to AR. He completed his first adventure race in high school, which triggered immediate interest in the sport. As a result of half and full marathon training schedules, Nick didn't revisit adventuring racing until university, where he formed a team with fellow rowing teammate Brad Jennings, which would become Ripkin AR.

Daniel Raymond

Age: 25

Hometown: Barrie, ON

Currently Resides: Barrie, ON

An experienced and decorated triathlete, Dan brings a high compete level to the team. He joined up as an integral 4th member at The Bruce Peninsula Multisport Race, helping Ripkin AR to 1st and 2nd place finishes with only minutes between. He joined the team once again at the 2014 Storm The Trent helping the team accomplish a 1st place finish.

Jake Schwass

Age: 28

Hometown: Terra Cotta, ON

Currently Resides: Tara, ON

Jake has spent his entire life mountain biking, canoe tripping, and running or hiking the Bruce Trail and local rail lines. But it wasn't until the spring of 2013 that he put all those things together, and was infected by the sport that is Adventure Racing, and at that moment, the Ripkin Boys became men. Jake is a well rounded athlete and impervious to the elements, which proves to be beneficial in this sport. You may notice Jake on course running with a canoe, and strategizing the next transfer point to make up time where others can’t. Gear oriented and methodical, Jake will fight to the finish every time, 95% of the time.
